Open since September 12, 1997, and located in Corvallis, Oregon, the Avalon Cinema is a small art cinema whose sole purpose is to exploit art films for money. Mostly because if we didn't, we couldn't pay for this place. But, we're not totally heartless. After all, we have cheap nights during the week. We even have Student and Senior Discounts.

Please make suggestions for movies, snack bar items, and even our wardrobe. Thank you for supporting us. Without you, we'd be showing the same stuff everyone else is showing.

Avalon Cinema is at 160 NW Jackson St. in Corvallis, Oregon. To get here, first drive to Oregon, then drive to Corvallis, then drive to Jackson Street. It's that easy!

Ticket prices are currently $9.00 if you annoy me. $6.00 General Admission, $5.00 Students, Senior Citizens. all shows before 6:00pm. all shows Wednesday. $11.50 if you think saying "I'm a student of life" is even close to original or cute. $4.00 for FlickClique members, but $21.50 if you leave your damn cell phone on in the theater.

The auditorium contains 90 seats.

We have a screen that is 9 feet by 14 feet, as well as Dolby Surround Sound. If you're worried about how good we sound, just ask our neighbors at Sibling Revelry.

Undoubtedly, the question that's burning on everyone's mind is, what hours are you guys open? Well, I'll tell you: we open a half hour before showtime (give or take 30 minutes). Honest. Patrons (yep, that's you) are encouraged to lounge in our lobby before or after the show.
